You know all this talk about the weather being so hot in Florida.  I remember taking my girls "Trick or Treating" when they were that age and nearly freezing as I stood back of a bush or a building so as not to spoil their fun.Â

Also, having the same problem as I sat in the stands at the Football Games at Lakewood High. Joann was a Sprite and Becky was a Cheerleader.  They both were able to spot me in the crowd - the white haired Lady shivering in her seat.

Of course that was in the early 70s. But why the difference today. My computer thinks it is still in St. Petersburg because every morning when I turn it on it gives me the temperature in St. Petersburg.  This morning it was 80 degrees. Don't want to make you feel bad but it did not make it up to 60 here today.

I don't understand Global Warming but could it be that causing the weather the way it is now compared to what it was when the girls were in school.

I never minded the heat in Florida and I don't mind the cold in North Carolina. You might say I am well insulated.
