If the folks around here know what they are talking about this rain will intensify the color on the leaves.  It seems the drought we are in would not let the leaves do their thing.  So that being the case I won't complain about the weather because I for one enjoy the many different colors showing on the mountain side this time of the year.

So, what do I do on a day like today? Nothing. I slept late, no paper to read, watched the news on TV and played Free Cell on the computer.Â

The day was not a complete wash out because I had a call from Daughter Rebecca and an e-mail from a Church friend who has moved to Kissimmee.  You might say this saved the day for me.

Another thing -- the Cleveland Indians let the Boston Red Sox win. Being from Ohio I was rooting for the Indians but now I will root for Boston because they are in the American League.Â

Don't get the idea I am complaining. I am really not. How could I when I have a nice home that keeps me dry and warm when it is wet and cold outside.Â
