I expected this to be a sad day because yesterday our visitors returned to their homes in Florida. I always miss everyone when they leave.Â

Bill and Joann had invited Karen and Bill, neighbors up the way, for dinner. That saved the day for me. I had met Bill but not Karen. I had written about Bill (Will) before. Remember the one who left his boots out on the porch and another neighbor's dog came along and took one home for his Master. Bill was the one who left his boots out.Â

It was so nice to have them visit. I found that Karen and I have a common interest. You guessed it - Baseball. She is a Red Sox fan. I had to tell her being from Ohio I was rooting for the Indians. It does not matter who wins the World Series, I feel blessed to have met Karen and Bill. Hope they come back soon.Â
