I am glad this is not my day to walk because the weather outside is frightful. It's barely 60 and raining. It was raining when I opened the drapes this morning and it is now 4 PM and it is still raining. It is just a year ago today that we left St. Pete
and made Pisgah Forest our home.

Yesterday was a beautiful day and I did walk and saw many interesting things on the trip into town.  The City is decorated for Halloween. Every light pole in each block is covered with corn stalks and orange ribbon. It's nice to see they use the corn stalks for something. This is corn country. Some folks have corn growing in their front yard. This is ironic that I should live in corn country and not able to eat corn even though I love it.Â

While Joann visited the Bead Store, Bill showed me the route they have been assigned to work their latest endeavor. They have volunteered to count White Squirrels. On the tour of the area they are to count Bill and I saw 4 White Squirrels. I hope that will go into their report.  My one concern is how are they going to know they are not counting the same ones over and over.Â

Please join me in wishing for sunshine tomorrow because it is my day to walk.

Love and prayers from here to thereÂ
