Today has not been a typical Friday the 13th. For one thing the Rays beat the Marlins 7-3. That's good. Had 3-mail from friends who moved to Texas and from friends that summer in Buzzards Bay, Mass.  And I called a friend that I have not talked with for a couple of weeks.Â
The one thing that was not good - Joann woke me up early this morning because I had an appointment to have my Pacemaker checked.  Remember I told you a while back the battery is about to give out. They figured it will last until November and then it must be replaced. I have to go every month to have it checked. Last month the young man comes from the factory that makes the batteries and last month he made the appointment for today, June 13th. At the time he made it he asked if Friday the 13th would be alright with me. I, of course, said yes because I don't want to miss an appointment. So, today we get there and wait and wait and finally a young woman comes out into the waiting room and tells us the young man has no record of an appointment with me.  Well, it is a good thing I was not there to have my Blood Pressure checked because they would have admitted me.  The next time he has open is next Monday at 3 PM.  Maybe, just maybe I will have cooled off by then.Â
A nice dinner that Joann prepared for me and winning the game has helped greatly.
That's my day. How was yours?

Love and prayers from here to there
