Driving into town today I thought to myself folks come from all over the U.S. to see the leaves turning in the fall but they should be coming in the spring when the trees and the flowers are blooming. The Pear Tree, the Dogwood, the Orchid tree. The Pear Tree does not bear fruit but is shaped like a pear and has the most beautiful white blossoms on all summer. The Dogwood is Pink and the Orchid tree is a deep Purple. All so beautiful.Â
When I opened the drape this morning I saw a pot of Yellow Tulips. I love Tulips and had several different colored plants in the yard of our home in Steubenville. I mentioned to Bill that I had seen several Tulip plants the last time I was out and how much I like them.  Guess that was hint enough.Â
Hear daily from Becky. She is now in Geneva, Switzerland. I must ask her if she has learned to Yodel. Knowing her she probably has. Joann is still Beading getting ready for the Church Bazaar. Heard from our friend Jimmie about his visit to Italy. We must be careful that the Italians don't adopt him.
Also, had a call from a Gentleman friend from Church to talk about The Rays.Â
So, other than The Rays losing to Seattle tonight it has been a very nice day.  We would have had a chance to win except for a bad call from the Third Base Umpire. Oh well, maybe tomorrow we will win.  Hope so.
