You all know the trouble I have getting into Bill's truck so for that reason I will be staying in until Joann comes home with her SUV. Although, I do open the door to breathe in some of that fresh air and catch a few rays of sunshine. This does not make for any interesting news to report for the day. So, back to the memory bank.
I have told you about our home that Fred built off of  Sunset Blvd. He did not do the plumbing or the electrical work. The Plumber did not seal everything up and there were holes that little creatures came through looking for food I guess. We were all in the Living Room one evening watching a program on TV when I noticed something run across in front of the TV. Joann was sitting on her Daddy's lap and I was holding Becky. I said "what was that?" Fred was so interested in the program he had not seen a thing. So maybe I didn't really see anything.
Few minutes later again I saw something racing across the room.  I said it looked like a rat and we must set a trap now.
We only had one trap and no cheese. Called my Mom and Dad asking what to do? My Mom asked if we had any chocolate and of course we always had chocolate.  Seems rats like it as well as they do cheese maybe even better. Fred set the trap. It was winter time and the snow was piled on our Patio out the Kitchen door. Have you ever heard that you can only catch one rodent with each trap. We proved that wrong that night when we trapped 5 with that one trap. Took most of my chocolate.
Next morning Fred gathered them up from the snow and took them to the dump.Â
Oh, by the way, the Plumber was called back to patch up the holes the very next day.
I have one other creature invasion to tell you about next time.

Love and prayers from here to there
