If you had been here yesterday morning when we opened the drapes you would have thought Santa had been around again and decorated the trees with Icicles. Oh but these were real ones.Â
Â
During the night we had a freezing rain and the limbs of the trees were iced and with the icicles it made for a beautiful sight if you were on the inside looking out. So early in the afternoon the sun came out and melted the ice.
Â
I was hoping the sun would not come out today so that little rascal up in Pennsylvania would not see his shadow. Six more weeks of winter has been promised since he did see his shadow. Oh well, there is always the pink jacket right inside the closet.
Â
I had a call from my friend Terry today. We always have a lot to talk about. Wouldn't you know the topic of conversation got around to the weather. She said they had a wind storm that just about took her off her feet as she went out doors to pick up things that had blown into their yard from neighbors yards.Â
Â
Oh, before I close this out, Joann and I went out on the Patio this afternoon. Me in a long robe and that pink jacket. Even though it was 60 degrees it was windy and the sun was just about on the other side of the road. It was so good to get out. We walked back and forth on the Patio. I was surprised to see the ruts of the cart that the Paramedics had me on were still in tact. Guess that freezing rain preserved them.Â

Love and prayers from here to there
