Did not make the deadline so you will be reading this tomorrow (Thursday).

A Gentleman friend once told me I had good taste. If he could have seen me this morning he would be sorry he had ever made such a statement.Â
Â
It was 14 degrees out there and I had to go for a PT test. I had the warmest slacks and top I could find and topped them with a Pink Hooded, Lined Jacket. Topped this off with a knitted hat and oh the last straw: Joann insisted I wear a red velvet wrap that she and Becky got me for Christmas. I balked but it did no good. I was saving it for when the weather was a bit warmer to wear to Church and on special occasions. Did I mention we had three inches of snow on the ground and the wind was howling so that we thought there was a monster in the back yard.Â
Â
On the way down the mountain we had a good view of where the Deer and probably the Bear hang out. What with the leaves off the trees and the snow on the ground we were able to see into their quarters clearly.  They were not to be found probably had gone to find a warm spot.Â
Â
All the mountain tops on the way to the Drs. Office were covered with snow. The Blue Ridge was especially beautiful.Â
Â
When I walked into the Drs. Waiting Room there were three other folks waiting. One man who was with his wife looked at me with a bright smile on his face. It was not that Good Morning, how are you? look. It was more like "she must think it is cold out." Every once in a while our eyes would meet and he still had that same grin on his face. Joann said "maybe his face is frozen and the smile won't go away until spring" Oh, she did not say that until we left the office.Â
Â
By the way, the test was normal.

Love and prayers from here to there
