They were too. Maybe even better than yesterday. My plate was full and I ate every bite. The next big meal will be on Christmas day when we will have Gnocchi which is an Italian dish and has become a custom in our home.
Please don't tell any of the natives about our traditional Christmas dinner. They haven't gotten over our not having Cornbread dressing on Thanksgiving. I guess they believe that old saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do".
Did not go into town today because I am sure half of the population of Pisgah Forest was downtown looking for bargains in one of our two department stores. We do have some great little shops that sell mostly locally made items.
We are getting ready for a visit from younger Daughter Becky. She will be here for three days the first week of December.
We will do Christmas while she is here.
Well, that is about all the news from the Forest. Hope you all have a good night's sleep.
Love and prayers from here to there
